LUTHARATM

Luthara is a name given to this new guitar design, 2024. It's a guitar for a very special player, where every note is critical and the set is as much a work of art as the music. For more information about it and to hear an audio, please go to the Luthara page in this site.  

Luthara back and sides are East Indian Rosewood, with black mother of pearl inlay. All inlay throughout is BMOP. It's a guitar for a very special player, where every note is critical and the set is as much a work of art as the music.

Luthara headstock is East Indian Rosewood with ebony, maple, and black mother of pearl inlay. Tuners are Schaller Gold and Ebony, 20:1 ratio.

This Luthara rosette is segmented with black mother of pearl inlay and black veneer edge banding for each section. It's a nod to Ervin Somogyi, who worked on the soundboard with me in his shop.
