Okay, the bridge is in the wrong place for acoustic response.

But this guitar is obviously not designed around that particular function. Back in the day, a lot of us went out into the woods to find peace. And music. Under the heavens. So this was made to fit into a backpack and play softly around a campfire. Takes minutes to string and plays for hours. I'd probably make it a little different these days.

Luthara back and sides are East Indian Rosewood, with black mother of pearl inlay. All inlay throughout is BMOP. It's a guitar for a very special player, where every note is critical and the set is as much a work of art as the music.

BACKPICKER Bridge Detail

This Luthara rosette is segmented with black mother of pearl inlay and black veneer edge banding for each section. It's a nod to Ervin Somogyi, who worked on the soundboard with me in his shop.

Luthara headstock is East Indian Rosewood with ebony, maple, and black mother of pearl inlay. Tuners are Schaller Gold and Ebony, 20:1 ratio.
